After facing flak for being over-weight during the release of Dhah Dhana Dhan Goal, Arshad worked out a diet and exercise routine.

Apparently, he has succeeded in losing eight kilos and is aiming to lose four more.

He is so addicted to fitness, that he has demanded a treadmill on the sets of his upcoming film, Ishqiya, in Wai, Maharashtra.

Mansi Maroo of Shemaroo the production house of the film said, “I think Arshad is looking extremely fit now. He has asked us for a treadmill, which we shall be more than happy to provide.”

Apart from exercising, Arshad is trying his best to eat only the right kinds of food.

“It’s high time that I pay attention to fitness. I love raw vegetables, so those are not a problem. I’m eating a lot of boiled stuff too. Ishqiya has a 60 day schedule and I aim to be in great shape for the shoot.”
